The Permian Small Business Directory began in April 2009 as a project of
Rick’s Budget Websites. The idea came to the owner one day when he was
thinking of ways to reward his website customers. When discussing with
small business owners and customers whether it would be a good idea people
were so positive about it there was no doubt that the Directory should be
formed.

Products and services provided by the company Local, small businesses now have a
way to advertise for free. Permiansbd.com also lists business related activities on its Bulletin
Board as a public service. The directory is forming partnerships with local churches to list
Christian owned companies for those who prefer doing business with other Christians.
The directory will list any local, small business with 10 or less employees located in the Permian
Basin. Permiansbd.com particularly wants to urge home based entrepreneurs to list with the
directory.

This directory is non profit so there’s no budget for adverting and it must rely on word of mouth.
